Preventative Dental Care

Dr Peter Waltham

Dr Peter Waltham is the owner and head dentist at Sandringham Dental Practice. He prides himself on creating a relaxed & happy environment for his patients and staff. Peter graduated in Dentistry, September 1978 at University of Adelaide & has been practicing for over 38 years. He opened Sandringham Dental in October 1987 & has been a part of the Bayside Community for 30 years. He enjoys giving back to the community by chairing the National Dental Foundation (Victorian Branch) and by opening Sandringham Dental to the homeless & underprivileged on designated “Dental Rescue Days” which enables him to provide them with free dental care. Dr Waltham is a member of the Australian Dental Association, he has completed the Australian Society of Implant Dentistry (ASID) level I, II & III accreditation as well as completing surgical training in implant placing & sinus lifts with MIS at the Esparza Enclosed educational foundation in Colombia. Peter is also a Fellow of International College of Dentists (F.I.C.D). When he is not consumed by his passion for dentistry you will find him playing his piano. His music interests range from classical to modern…. you name it he loves it. Peter is also an amazing cook who loves to entertain and create meals for his friends and family. He lives his life with honesty, compassion & enthusiasm, always striving for a fulfilled and happy life. With a great mind comes a great heart.
Dr Jenny Moutafis

Dr Moutafis graduated in 1989 from the University of Melbourne. She joined Sandringham Dental Practice 23 years ago. She enjoys all aspects of family dentistry & is renown for her gentle touch & calming manner. When Jenny isn’t in the surgery you will find her in the kitchen baking & creating amazing cakes for her loved ones. Her love for her family & pet dog takes her to the outdoors where she enjoys being active surrounded by nature. As a loving mother Jenny also extends these attributes to a caring dentist where her softest touch is the very best.
Dr Emmanuel Kim

Dr Emmanuel Kim graduated in Dentistry from the University of Melbourne in 2003 and has been a part of the Sandringham Dental Family for many years. He is a local resident & enjoys being a part of the Bayside Community where he has established life as a husband & loving dog owner. Dr Kim brings a fresh & youthful outlook to the Practice, he continually attends education programs to further his skill & knowledge within the ever changing & growing dental industry. With his dynamic skill & knowledge base, Dr Kim emphasises his skills in prosthodontic & cosmetic/aesthetic restorative dentistry & relishes in the ability to change & make ones’ smile. Away from the dental surgery Emmanuel is a man who loves his sports from basketball to AFL football. He likes to take timeout on the golf course and regular camping trips with his family & friends. Emmanuel is a man who is kind & gentle and always takes this approach with his patients.
